I used to hate form fitting, too.
Honestly - after as I qualified as a technician, it was 3 years before I decided to throw myself in the deep end and exclusively offer form-sculpted extensions.
This was after I was forced into it by agreeing to extend an extreme nail-biters’ nails for her wedding. She was driving 2 hours to get to me, and her natural nails were so short, there was no way I was getting a tip glued on - she was so, so self-conscious about her hands.
Her extensions took me 4 hours - and they were so beautiful, she CRIED.
I realised then that although I was doing amazing work with tips, there was even more I could be doing for clientele I was super passionate about. Throwing myself in the deep end was the only way to force myself into practising and refining these skills - and 4 years later, here I am! A National Nail Tech Educator and specialist in form-sculpted extensions.
