Terms and Conditions

The Nail Vault services strictly by appointment only. Walk-in appointments are unavailable. Being in a residential area, approaching the salon without prior contact or booking is unacceptable. Please contact us if you have any questions or click here to make a booking online.

The time we set aside for your personal appointment is very valuable to us; we respect your time, so please respect ours. We kindly ask that you arrive with an idea of what you’d like on your nails, and no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. We also kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your booking (please see our Cancelation Policy below for fees applicable).

Services don’t all take the same amount of time. If you come to your appointment and find you haven’t booked correctly (e.g You wanted extensions but booked a manicure; you want art but didn’t book extra time; you haven’t booked removal but need product removed; etc), and you don’t wish to receive any service, you will be charged in full for the service and time you booked for regardless.
If you are unsure about what to book for (length, nail art, rebalances etc) or if you’ve booked for the correct service, please send us a message and ask (No question is a silly question!).

We are within our rights to refuse any services we deem unfit to provide.

Service pricing is subject to change without notice.

Unless they are young enough to sit in a capsule and have a nap, no children are permitted at the salon - it is not a child-proofed space, and we cannot guarantee the immaculate service we do if there are distractions, bodies moved around and tables bumped. Please feel free to send us a message if you have any queries regarding children in the salon.

Minimum age for service is 10 years old. Minimum age for nail extensions is 14 (or 12 with parental permission, as a one-off service).

We do not re-balance or infill other salons’ work - if you are a new client and have booked in for a re-balance or infill, we’ll contact you to confirm/update your appointment to cater for a product removal and full new set.

Vouchers expire 1 year after purchase, are available to redeem on any product or service at THE NAIL VAULT and are not redeemable for cash. Click here to purchase a voucher.

All staff at THE NAIL VAULT are at least double vaccinated against Covid-19. Masks are not required in the salon, however staff are happy to oblige should you request we wear one for the duration of your appointment. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or queries surrounding our sanitisation and disinfection processes.

We know you don’t purposefully get distracted or sleep through your alarm, and we understand you can’t plan for illness or your car breaking down - but neither can we. With a set amount of availability per day and reliability on the majority of our appointments being pre-booked, the loss of revenue from your cancelled service is significant to us.

Cancelation Policy and Fees

Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment, you deposit will be credited to your name to use in the salon towards future services and/or purchases.

Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a 50% cost of service cancellation fee. Cancellations or reschedules within 3 hours are charged in full.
No-Shows are charged in full. If you’re a new client, you’ll be required to pay in full in advance for any future appointments.
Lateness of more than 15 minutes will require your appointment to be rescheduled and is charged in full. If you communicate with us in advance that you’re going to be 15 minutes late but wish to have a different service than you’ve originally booked for, you may do so if time allows - but you will be charged at your original service rate booked. We will not perform half of a service to “make the most of the time” (would a dental hygienist only clean half of your teeth?).

Outstanding cancellation fees must be settled before any new bookings are made.

Any future appointments will be cancelled if we don’t receive communication and/or payment within 48 hours of your invoice.

If you are unwell or cannot commit to your set time, you may elect to send a friend to utilise your appointment time (waiving any cancellation fees).

If you are visibly unwell and attend an appointment, we are within our right to refuse service and you will be charged at full cost - we love that you love getting your nails done, but please remember we work closely with multiple people from different backgrounds every day and also have our own families too; our (and your!) health is more important than your nails.

The Nail Vault does not offer refunds under any circumstances.
